1. Tour Booking & Confirmation Process

Benaras Tour Package is an inbound pilgrimage and travel division managed by KV Tours Pvt. Ltd.. To confirm a private tour package or customized itinerary:

• Initial Enquiry: Submit your tentative travel dates, group size, and category preference via our web form or WhatsApp desk.
• Custom Proposal: Our local desk provides a clear day-wise itinerary with transparent vehicle type, hotel options, and pricing breakdown.
• Advance Deposit: Bookings are secured upon receipt of an advance booking deposit (typically 25% to 40% depending on hotel supplier policies during peak festive seasons like Dev Deepawali, Shivratri, or holiday weekends).
• Confirmation Voucher: A formal booking confirmation voucher with local coordinator contact details and driver assignment information is issued.

2. Vehicle Allocation & Sightseeing Rules

• Vehicles are allocated based on group size: AC Sedan (Dzire / Etios) for 1–3 passengers; AC SUV (Ertiga / Innova Crysta) for 4–6 passengers; AC Tempo Traveller for larger family/pilgrim groups.
• In accordance with Varanasi traffic police regulations, private motor vehicles cannot enter the narrow heritage pedestrian lanes around Godowlia, Dashashwamedh, and Chowk. Vehicles drop passengers at the designated nearest parking zones, from where battery-operated e-rickshaws or walking applies.
• Sightseeing routes follow the confirmed itinerary. Vehicle usage is point-to-point and itinerary-bound; extra detours or unplanned out-of-route travel may incur nominal per-kilometer charges.

3. Temple Guidelines & Darshan Assistance Scope

Please note our explicit scope of temple assistance:

• Temple Administration Authority: Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple is governed strictly by the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust. No commercial tour operator can bypass security or guarantee queue-free entry. Official special darshan passes (Sugam Darshan, Mangala Aarti, Rudrabhishek) are bookable directly on shrikashivishwanath.org.
• Prohibited Items: Mobile phones, electronic items, smartwatches, cameras, leather belts, shoes, and tobacco/liquor are strictly banned inside the temple corridor. Secure cloaking facilities are available at Gate 4 and other corridor entry gates.
• Dress Code: Traditional attire (dhoti-kurta for men, saree for women) is mandatory for sanctum entry during Sparsh Darshan and special Abhishek rituals.
• Local Coordinator Role: Our verified coordinators assist with locker management, queue orientation, temple history, and navigation to Annapurna Temple and Manikarnika Ghat.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• 15 or more days before departure: 90% refund of the deposit (subject to non-refundable hotel supplier charges if applicable).
• 7 to 14 days before departure: 50% refund of the deposit.
• Less than 7 days before departure: Deposit is non-refundable due to vehicle reservation holding and hotel lock-in policies.
• Dev Deepawali / Mahashivratri / Peak Periods: Bookings during peak festivals are subject to strict hotel cancellation clauses communicated prior to booking confirmation.
• River Ganga High Water / Flood Advisory: During peak monsoon (typically August–September), district administration may temporarily restrict motorized boats on the river for passenger safety. In such cases, boat rides are replaced with seated viewings from the ghat platforms or adjusted in consultation with guests.
